What I've learned from my Sister
I'm blessed with a 6 yr old sister. Her name is Regine. She is just a wonderful sister to me. She served her kuya by massaging him after a long hrs of work. Her small and tender hands were really built to take away all the stress that filled up my back. But i noticed that she was gifted with another skill. The gift of Faith. Something that i'm really learning from her. Every night she will communicate to us her vision of having a bedroom full of Barbie. Room colored pink with lots of toys. The vision was so clear that she even tell the no. of floors and the design (she has actually drawn the design and structure of her dreamhouse). I tried to teased her of just having a smaller one but she answered "kuya wag ganon, kc pag maliit ang dinrawing ko baka maliit ang mangyari." (her drawing is actually a big box with a triangle on top. The most beautiful design in the world. ^_^).
I learned 3 things from her.
1.) When you dream, dream Big. Use the remaining space on the paper. if you can draw on the remaining space, do it, it just shows how big is her faith.
2.) Look on the beauty of the dream and not on the harships of pursuing that dream. Her beautiful room is actually enough for her to sustain that hardship.
3.) Have the passion to communicate that dream. My sister is not ashame. She even always talk about that on her friends and on our neighbors.
I thank God for blessing me a sister. I'm learning a lot from her. How about you? Have you enjoyed your sister or brother lately? What have you learn?
Be blessed and God bless You.
